For the past 31 years, I have been involved in home design. From designing, supervising construction, and ultimately selling the homes, to later starting a design/decorating business with my wife, and, most recently, owning a Log Home design and decorating business. I think most will find my wife and I have the years of experience to design and decorate your new log home.

In 1969 I graduated from college with a degree in Architectural Drafting.

Shortly after that I started working for a housing company. For the next four years I designed, constructed, and ultimately sold the homes.

Using my experience from the prior four years, my wife and I ventured out on our own to begin our own home decorating/design business in 1973. Then in 1983, I became involved in selling log homes. Seeing the growing popularity of log homes, we soon after began Action Log Homes while my wife continued with our home decorating business working mostly with the log homes I designed. We found Betty's decorating to be a great asset to our business and our customers, as she brings ten years of experience in log home decorating. Since we began our business ten years ago, we have done work for customers in eight different states and our clientele continues to grow each year.
